Abstract Submission Instructions
(Please Read Carefully)

1. Abstract submission is open online until 15th July 2026.

2. The theme of the carnival is "Empowering Values, Inspiring Innovation: Education for the Future."

3. All abstracts must be submitted exclusively via the online abstract submission system. Submissions via other means, such as post, email, fax, or text messaging, will not be entertained.

4. All submissions must strictly adhere to the official template provided.

5. Abstract must be written in English or Bahasa Melayu.

6. The ABSTRACT TITLE must be clear, concise, and grammatically correct. Please avoid using abbreviations in the title.

7. It is the author’s responsibility to submit an abstract with correct spelling and grammar. The SULAM@UPM2026 Committee, however, reserves the right to edit the abstract if the abstract contains obvious spelling and grammatical errors.

8. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the SULAM@UPM2026 Committee. The review process is confidential, and the decision is final.

9. Any last-minute changes or updates to the abstract after it has been accepted are strictly prohibited.

10. Author Membership: The maximum number of authors in ONE (1) abstract is limited to 10 only. The list of authors is final and cannot be amended once the abstract has been reviewed and accepted. Author names in both the abstract and the poster must be consistent for certificate alignment purposes.

11. Participants are not allowed to withdraw after the panel has reviewed the abstract. A penalty will be imposed should this occur.

12. Late submissions will NOT be entertained.

13. Results of the abstract submission will be informed via email. 

14. Once the abstract is accepted, please prepare a poster following the format below.

Once your abstract is accepted, the next step is to prepare your presentation poster.

POSTER FORMAT

Participants must prepare a digital poster in A1 size using the provided template.
Participants may customize font type, text and background colours. The size of the font should be at least 20pt. Authors may also add illustrations (graphs, diagrams, pictures) as well as QR codes for an enhanced and effective presentation.

Gold, silver and bronze medals await the winners of the poster competition.
